The Reishi mushroom, a.k.a. “Ganoderma lucidum”, is a fungus found in hot and humid regions in Asia. It’s been a staple in Eastern medicine for many years, mainly used to fight infection. Benefits include improved sleep, mood, and a stronger immune system. Just what we’re looking for! Studies have shown they can affect the genes in white blood cells, which are critical parts of the immune system, and alter their inflammation pathways.

A little squeeze goes a long way!

Lime, just like its pal Lemon, is an immunity-boosting citrus fruit loaded with Vitamin C and antioxidants. Its antiviral properties can help speed up the body’s natural healing process. If you drink lime water on a regular basis, it can help prevent cases of the cold and flu or shorten the lifespan of the infection. Sounds like a sweet deal, so go fill up your cup! A Zinc deficiency can lead to an increase in cases of the cold and flu, which we’re NOT here for.
