A Cheese Board with CBD Chocolate

Inspired to create something more elevated next time you’re winning and dining? Try Calivolve’s take on a modern cheese board with three kinds of cheeses, nuts, dried fruit, and biscotti hand-dipped in CBD chocolate.

We first tried this recipe at our Calivolve x Rosebud CBD launch party and it was a huge hit! This is an easy and creative way to share your Calivolve CBD chocolate and flex your gourmet skills.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Calivolve x Rosebud CBD Chocolate Bar, chopped

Dried blood orange slices

Dried apricots

Biscotti 

Marcona almonds

Humboldt Fog goat cheese

Brillat Savarin (triple cream brie)

Dubliner cheddar cheese

French baguette

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Leave all three cheeses out for at least 30 minutes before you begin assembling your cheese board.
  2. Once you’re ready to begin, melt your chocolate over a double broiler. (If you don’t have one, place a small glass bowl over a saucepan filled with a small amount of water. You don’t want the water level to touch the bowl; this may burn your chocolate!).
  3. Once your chocolate is melted and smooth, dip half of each piece of dried fruit and biscotti into melted chocolate. Set on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Place the tray into the refrigerator for 10 minutes to let the chocolate set.
  4. Assemble your cheeses across the board, layer the orange slices and dried fruit sprinkled with the almonds and surround the tray with chocolate dipped biscotti and sliced baguette. You can add olives and charcuterie for some savory contrast.
