Healthy Chocolate Protein Smoothie

It’s hot AF in Cali this week! Did you hear Death Valley hit 130F, the hottest temperature recorded on Earth? Needless to say, we need a refreshing smoothie to cool us off and get us ready to get the kids back to (virtual) school. Ugh, let’s even talk about that. 

Instead, here’s a refreshing summer smoothie recipe you’ll be able to whip up without breaking a sweat.

Here’s a refreshing peach summer smoothie recipe you’ll be able to whip up without breaking a sweat

INGREDIENTS:

1⁄2 large banana, frozen

3⁄4 cup frozen peaches

5 ice cubes

1⁄2 cup almond milk

2 tablespoons of protein powder

1 heaping teaspoon of cocoa powder

1 teaspoon chia seed

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add chia seeds and almond milk to your blender and let sit for 3 minutes.

2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until completely smooth.

3. If you want to get fancy (and we always do), melt an extra CBD chocolate truffle and run it around the inside of the glass before you pour in your smoothie and enjoy!

Serving size: 12 oz glass
